For ELWBers Knowledge of the Violence Occurring in Somalia Against Teachers and Students, September 2018

Association of Teachers of English in Somalia ATES are sending condolences to the family who lost their daughter yesterday in Mogadishu, Somalia. On September 18, 2019 a soldier tried to stop a school bus at gun point and deliberately fired on the school bus. One student lost her life and nine young student got injured. Additionally, we are sending the same painful condolences to the school teachers and students of HOYGA HAMAR School. We do not accept any more these brutal killings and we wait for the government to take quick reaction and action surrounding the daily killing of teachers and their students.

Best regards,

Abdisalan Yusuf Adan
ATES President
